Friday went out for a few beers. Talked about Palin and stuff. Overheard others doing the same. Saturday went to <a href=\"http:\/\/hitbook.wordpress.com\/\">Hit Book<\/a> (RNCDNC theme) <em>figure 1<\/em> where we talked about Palin a lot. Went to Cordelia&#8217;s birthday dinner at Diner directly after, long wait, surprisingly amazing dinner. Sunday went up to the armory to see the Creative Time mega show <a href=\"http:\/\/www.creativetime.org\/programs\/archive\/2008\/democracy\/convergence.php\">Democracy in America<\/a> <em>figure 2<\/em>. Really great show put together by Nato and Co. Spent several hours there and was pretty absorbed. I highly recommend you go see it this week, I think it closes on Saturday. It&#8217;s also a great excuse to poke and crawl around the crazy elaborate Armory building <em>figure 3<\/em>. Ate some soup in the park with the gang. Met up with Mike K and Nick P and had a couple beers and talked about Palin at Brasserie <em>figure 4<\/em>. Swank place. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Politicin all weekend.
