{"id":103,"date":"2007-09-05T23:45:12","date_gmt":"2007-09-06T05:45:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/share.cassity.us\/?p=103"},"modified":"2007-09-05T23:45:12","modified_gmt":"2007-09-06T05:45:12","slug":"103","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mattcassity.com\/blog\/103\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1378\/1325919993_345769302b.jpg\"><br \/>\n<em>In Minneapolis<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\nAccording to my iCal:<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Saw PaperRad at MoMA<\/strong> &#8211; Jacob should tour as an inspirational speaker with Andrew WK<br \/>\n<strong>Had drinks with Porter<\/strong> &#8211; Hadn&#8217;t seen her since x-mas<br \/>\n<strong>Went to a Chicago themed party<\/strong> &#8211;  sponsored by Nato &#8211; was way too crowded and I went over to Vasmay<br \/>\n<strong>Saw the Suckers<\/strong> &#8211; at Supreme Trading, it was hot as hell, but they put on the best show I&#8217;d seen from them. Went to the Abbey with Mike afterwards<br \/>\n<strong>Went to a BBQ<\/strong> &#8211; at David Micheal&#8217;s, went on to Red Hook with Mike, Nick and Liz. Got way too drunk and pissed off some bluegrass band, and embarssed myself<br \/>\n<strong>Went to the end of Long Island<\/strong> &#8211; with Mike and Gino, we saw skinny dippers, spent about 1 total hour on the beach, drank about 100 beers, bbq&#8217;d, determined most beach towns are the same<br \/>\n<strong>Saw Andrew WK<\/strong> &#8211; with Ingrid, he played piano and his friend played guitar for about 1\/2 hour in this tiny theater, maybe 30 people there, mostly confused teens. I enjoyed it. Went to a 7 yr old&#8217;s birthday and various bars that night as well.<br \/>\n<strong>Went to a fancy BBQ<\/strong> &#8211; at Aug&#8217;s boss&#8217;s house, the 1st of 2<br \/>\n<strong>Went to the Daft Punk afterparty<\/strong> &#8211; at Studio B. Sweaty<br \/>\n<strong>Went to Sandman&#8217;s opening<\/strong> &#8211; at Eat, then onto N &#038; M&#8217;s and watched movies and drank too much wine. Stayed over and went TV shopping the next day<br \/>\n<strong>Another fancy BBQ<\/strong> &#8211; grilling, drinking and joking. Follow by a long night at bars<br \/>\n<strong>Went to Chicago<\/strong> &#8211; again. Had a great time, grilled at Sam&#8217;s. Biked all over the place. Saw some art, including Phoebe&#8217;s solo show. Partied. Ate a lot of Mexican food. Went to turtle races. Went to horse races<br \/>\n<strong>Prepared my portfolio<\/strong> &#8211; for a job I don&#8217;t want<br \/>\n<strong>Brooke left<\/strong> &#8211; we drank in honor of the occasion. Ended up on our old rooftop and threw about 50 bottles off of it. Felt stupid<br \/>\n<strong>Saw Superbad<\/strong> &#8211; The best<br \/>\n<strong>Had a very extended happy hour<\/strong> &#8211; at sweet &#038; viscous with the gang<br \/>\n<strong>Went to Minneapolis<\/strong> &#8211; for Tom &#038; Steph&#8217;s well-designed wedding. Had a blast with all the KU buddies. Went to the Walker finally, sculpture garden was the best<br \/>\n<strong>Saw Daniel Johnston<\/strong> &#8211; again, nearly as good as last time.
